It is one of the oldest of Sicily. It has been founded in 1955 from a group of vine grower of Trapani for the purpose to assume and to carry out in co-operation the grapes processing of the cellar’s associates and to get better the cultivation of the grapes, looking to increase the consumption of wine. After about half century, obliged of the evolution of life system and of the different moments of wine consumption, the Cooperative wine growers’ association of Trapani has followed as main objective the quality of the product, turning to the market of the “new consumers” and leaving out the big amount for the purpose to obtain a result of high quality. Already from e couple of years, in fact, they have done a selective choice of the best grapes between the vineyards of their associate, and introducing new technology and obtaining a high quality of wine in the gastronomy.
